Dr. Deep Chandh Raja had completed his early Cardiology training (DM- Doctor of Medicine) from the renowned Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute (SGPGI, Lucknow) and Internal Medicine training from the busy King George Medical College and University (KGMC, Lucknow).

    • Co-investigator: BIOMASTER.BIOMONITOR III, 2020 – till date – A multi-centre, international, open label study. The aim of the study is to test the safety and efficacy of the FIT OneStep which will be used as an insertion tool to implant the BIOMONITOR III.
    • Co-investigator: OCEAN, Optimal antiCoagulation for Enhanced risk pAtients Post-catheter ablatioN for atrial fibrillation, 2019 – till date – OCEAN is a prospective, open label, randomised controlled study aimed to investigate the superiority of long-term oral anticoagulation over antiplatelet therapy in preventing stroke in AF patients after their catheter ablation. The study is sponsored by Ottawa Heart Institute Research Corporation based in Ottawa, Canada.
    • Co-investigator: CAPLA, Catheter Ablation for Persistent atriaL fibrillAtion, 2019 – till date. CAPLA is an investigator-led, multicenter, randomised study. It assesses the effect of posterior left atrial wall isolation (PWI) with PVI (Pulmonary vein isolation) method in comparison to PVI method alone in atrial fibrillation ablation recurrence rate.
    • Co-investigator: SOLVE CRT, Stimulation Of the Left Ventricular Endocardium for Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy, 2019 – till date – Solve-CRT is a multi-centre, randomized and double-blind trial. The patients have cardiac indications of either in Class I, Class IIa and Class IIb, in which their CRT have either failed to respond or have been unable to receive conventional CRT. The aim of the study is to test a new method to place the CRT. The study is funded by EBR Systems from United States of America.
